I found a way to check the status but it doesn’t seem to mean anything if the taxpayer can’t see anything. Login to Tax Pros account, across the top it has Tax Pro Account Home, Request POA, Request TIA, and Authorization. Click on Authorizations. Mine say “Pending”. But if the client can’t authorize the forms I might as well upload signed forms rather than this online deal. And if it taxes weeks to retrieve transcripts, what’s the point.
